Playground and Tearoom
Opening Times Weekends, most public and school holidays from: 9:30 – 16:00. Closed on Tuesdays
Entrance Fee R15 per child. Adults are free but are expected to support the Tearoom
Yekelela Play and Guest farm offers braai facilities where the whole family can escape and enjoy family time. Children can be occupied, lost in the imagination of adventure in the playground while parents take the opportunity to observe their children at play and kick back and relax admiring the picturesque view. The cost is minimal at only R25 per person only children under 2 years old do not pay this includes children’s entry fee. Please book in advance and braai wood is available at R10 a bag.
NB: There is a licenced bar therefore all alcohol must be bought from the bar.
Payment Facilities So far we only accept cash payments, and unfortunately have no debit/credit card facilities.
The Tearoom is situated in such a way that you can enjoy having a drink or light meal while keeping an eye on your kids playing. It has a beautiful view over our valley and the sea in the distance. On good days you will be able to spot the warthogs or other game from the deck.
The Tearoom offers breakfasts, light lunches and snacks and has a fully licensed Bar.
The Playground and small touch farm is built around a big wild fig tree and offers plenty of different activities thus stimulating the development of different motor skills during fun play! The playground is fitted with lights so that children can carry on playing whilst the parents are enjoying a braai or having a relaxing beverage in the evening hours around the bar or on the deck overlooking the valley and the sea.
We have two big professional trampolines, Swings, A magnificent tree house, A track for riding small bikes or scooters, A unique Jungle gym built around the fig tree, with a boat, Tarzan rope and lots more!
Small touch farm has some goats, chickens, guinea pigs, a rabbit and a tortoise.
The plans are to keep on expanding, there are ample ideas! We will keep you posted.
Birthday Parties
Yekelela offers a wide variety of children’s parties. The various options are summed up in the table. Parties are set-up in our undercover party area or in the marquis which is for your exclusive use during the party. Please note that there most likely be other people using the venue as well during your party.

Size all parties are based on up to 15 children after which a surcharge per child will apply

Payment to secure your booking a 50% deposit is required at least two weeks beforehand. The remainder can be settled on the day of the party.
